Trisha Gold INTERNATIONAL PERFORMER / Vocalist, Mistress of Ceremonies, Actress, Model
Born into a musical family and raised in the church, Tranishia “Trisha” Gold has been immersed in music since the age of three. The daughter of a Methodist minister and church pianist, her vocal gifts were recognized early as she sang with choirs and organizations throughout her youth.
Her artistic journey has taken her from starring as Dorothy in The Wiz to international stages in Thailand and Japan. Introduced to Jazz during her college years as a featured vocalist with the College of Alameda Jazz Band, Trisha quickly became known for her vocal agility, warmth, and commanding stage presence.
She made her theatrical debut portraying Josephine Baker in Mz. Jazzy Josie B. at the Black Repertory Theatre, showcasing her ability to sing, dance, and act with sophistication. Her studio experience includes recording at Tarpan Studios under the direction of Michael “Narada” Walden and contributing to projects for Larry Graham, Tina Turner, and Clayboard Records.
As a solo artist and collaborative performer, Trisha has worked with notable Bay Area ensembles including Lloyd Gregory, Dalt Williams Quartet, Pure Ecstasy, Clayboard Entertainment (Jerry & The Champions), Masterpiece, and the Glide Ensemble. Her international performances include appearances at the Conrad Bangkok and Yoshi’s Oakland.
